Flowers Are Us
Some overcast days the light is soft and mellow, filling the world with colours that seem to drip off of everything like wet pastel paint. A short shower of spring rain on one of these days will leave all things green aching and wimpering to be photographed. Who am I to deny Mother Nature that wish?
It's funny, come to think of it, how rain is usually considered bad weather, though all the while the droplets it leaves on the petals and in the hearts of the flowers only help them radiate their beauty more strongly and make them sparkle and shimmer in the light. There must be some hidden meaning to all of this. Some profound gem of wisdom. I guess in our lives when the rains come, although they seem wet and cold and we long for the dryer days we used to know, instead of complaining, we should just remember this means we're desperate to have our pictures taken...
or something...
