It's been a while...

I haven't posted in over a year. Shame on me. Mainly, that's because this blog is a frontpage to a somewhat static website. After all, I don't update my portfolio very often as it doesn't contain my "day to day" photography. Still that shouldn't mean you don't get to see any of my work, so without more ado, I present you with a link to my Smugmug galleries. The latest gallery I uploaded is a photoshoot of Leiden just a few days before Christmas and includes these frosty photos. Viewer popularity will help me decide which shots to put into my portfolio when I decide to update it, so don't forget to leave comments and use the thumbs up/thumbs down function

Now I have to scoot, because the weather just changed for the better so I can take pics I've been dying to do for three long overcast days now...

Enjoy! And o yes, I hope you have a Happy New Year!

The Birds and the Bees

You know, I think the first thing you notice when you go outside is the absurdity of it all. I mean, really, just look at these pictures and tell me it isn't rediculous!

It just doesn't make any sense at all! Why? What for?

And if you don't have any trouble making heads or tails out of the things you see outside, it's because you're staying inside. While you're walking to the office or cycling to the supermarket, your mind is trapped in a small conference room, anticipating the meeting you are about to have, or caught in the kitchen trying to figure out what to cook.

If you let your thoughts go out once in a while, you'll end up just as puzzled as the rest of us...

My Birthday

This year was very special as I had a birthday. My family came over to pay my venerable age hommage and to have me smiled upon as well as spit and burped on by my little niece.

This is what they got me...

More Yummy Food

If you're looking to gain weight, just use one of these pictures as a desktop wallpaper. Did you notice Pavlov watering your mouth?

Mmmm... poffertjes...

My friend Randy treated me to some of his poffertjes extraordinair. Yummie... !
